Newbery's!
Firstly, my Uzi SPS
How I managed to walk into Newbery, get one of these, with 13 straight grains for £50, I will never know, but it is the best bat I have ever used! Pings like nothing else, due to Newbery's professional pressing, and picks up beautifully too - now wrecked through many re-stickerings, but the legend lives on...
And my Mjolnir C6+
I had to try one of these carbon handles, and got this second-hand for a good price. I was also really impressed with this, so much better than that crappy GN handle! It seemed to go very well, and for a 2lb 7oz bat, it had very good all-round performance!
Overall, I give Newbery a huge thumbs-up, and the best bit, is their customer service!

My Newbery Uzi is wonderful! I got it for £80 from Malik Sports in slough!
18 Straight grains and still going strong! Pings amazingly as maxxed said due to their superior pressing! Top Stuff!

Sorry maxxed i had to resize them...they moved your avatar to the bottom of your post and thats a bit too big lol
Re: Newbery's!
HAHA those images are skewed like anything, you need to resize them as a percentage of the original and keep the original ratio. Lol

Re: Newbery's!
I only had one newbury in my time and It was alright but found it cracked a bit easy, I would reccomend a Gray Nicholls

Maybe due to light pressing, allowing better ping - what model/grade was it?
