Re: Fatso...
Have just been looking at pics of a fatso and it appears to have a big concave which should add a bit to the middle...
What does everyone think of the 30 quid kashmir willow one :S

Re: Fatso...
I think 30 pound is a good price really, they look well made. Im more impressed with the L.E versions they seem very reasonable. Chris may be able to tell us more.

Re: Fatso...
Hi guys, well the Fatso is a nice model, and we do it in all grades from the Cheap £30 model right up to Grade1 English willow, and you are right the shape is concave on the back to allow a bigger middle, I can even do this bat custom made in Super Best willow. Its been a very popular model over the last 3 years!

Re: Fatso...
What other bats do CJI offer chris and what are their profiles like? I have only heard of SUMO and FATSO. Do you have a "Base" so we can come and see the bats?

Re: Fatso...
Chris, what is the quality like on the £30 Kashmir's? And I think the price is £100 + £9.95 for the Super Best custom made, which is very reasonable indeed!
Re: Fatso...

Re: Fatso...
The £29.95 fatso are very nice for the money made in the same way and finished to the same level just using cheaper materials ie cheaper willow etc, I was just saying to somebody today you asked the same question, our overseas pro last year was using a Top of the range bat, last game he picked up one of these cheaper fatso bats and said that feels nice can I use it, so he used it got 60 odd and when he was out said what a lovely bat that was, he didnt know it was the cheaper model until I told him! So there you go thats true, im not saying that they are better than the genuine English willow bats, but you would be surprised just how well some go!! And the CJI ultimate 1000 made from super best at £100 is a special promotion im doing before I get busy, its one real good offer infact im` not even making profits from it, but its good brand awareness! because once these bats get about alot more people will be looking to purchase one!

Re: Fatso...
Well if you are buying a genuine grade 1 bat from india for £50 then I`m sorry to tell you but it probably wont be genuine grade 1, also you have to remember you have to get the bat to UK air delivery is expensive and then VAT and customs clearance! so even at £50 could turn out to be nearer £90-100!

Re: Fatso...
Well I have the remainder of the bats sitting in front of me and I had the £530 taken out of my account for all 13 of them.
Look good enough from my view.

Re: Fatso...
Got them in July of 07 so sold 10 of the original 13, only got 3 left now. These ones haven't sold yet due to one of them being too nice, and the other 2 are around the 2 12/13 mark..
I'll get some pics up in a few momentos

Re: Fatso...
If I'm honest they lack the finish a bit, and the grips they come with a terrible. But for £50 I'm not complaining.
