Riverside...

Post by Sticky on Mon Dec 31, 2007 3:42 pm

In September our school time got through to the county cup final at Durham's very own test arena the Riverside. It was a great day although we lost and it was an expierience to remember.

Feel free to take a look at the pics on, www.riverside07.piczo.com

That was the best game ever! Did not get any pics of me batting though i was out by the time they realized...gutted got 27 though batted well, caught mid on just after the drinks break the track was amazing! Loved stickys temper when he was out hilarious. You see where he walked off, his bat is on the floor and his had is up. He threw his bat about 20 yards stuck his fingers up at us when we took his picture. CLASS!

And oh yeh, the only pic of me was when i was having a drink after my innings.

We actually only go to play on one half as the ground as younger kids were playing too. I might be able to see the net which seperates it I'm not sure. IMO I think I bowled well with my leg spin as the boundaries were quite small and the outfield was like lightning! I bowled my 6 overs straight through and picked up 2 wickets for 31 runs. They got about 175 in there 30 overs but our order was long enough to bat through that far and we managed to get about 130-9

O well theres always THIS YEAR!

Was well funny with that net. There was like support lines on each side of the net keeping it up and a few of the players whilst fielding the ball on the line tripped over them and fell over.
