after the ashes win last time around in england how many of the new england crop eg cook,prior ect would have got into that team. its my first post and im just interested to hear your opinons.

Cook would have got in easy!
No room for Prior - I would choose Jones over him any day!
Sidebottom wouldnt be picked as S Jones is a supreme bowler!

I think Monty would have got in for Gilo. I also think from the form he was in in that particualr series I think Cook would of got in instead of Bell (He had a poor series against Warney)

Danny is half right I think. I dont think Bell had a good series and I think that Cook would have taken his place. But I remeber Giles getting a few important wickets and scoring a very important 50!

i think nonone would have got in our bowling attack, that was one of the main reasons why we won. The aggressiveness of Harmison, the Swing of Hoggard, the pace of Jones and the discipline of Gilo. Not to mention Flintoff!
