2007 Team Result Summary - Here is the summary of all the test played in 2007 by all teams. As you can clearly see, not too many tests were played in 2006 due to the 2 World Cups – ODI and T20. Australia again proved to be unbeatable. SL and SAF did enough to claim a joint #2 with 66.66% and 50% wins but rest of the lot was disappointment.
India did pretty well by winning three series 1-0 (BD, ENG, PAK) with its 3 victories. While England and Sri Lanka white-washed their opponents (WI and BD) 3-0.

2007 Test Batting Stats – Following is list of 12 batsmen who scored more than 750 runs in test cricket – sorted by their batting average. In 2007, 4 batsmen were in great form; Sangakara, Jayawardene, Kallis and Ganguly.
Sangakara had the best ave and the S/R among the lot while Kallis scored most runs – thanks to his batting heroics vs Pak.

ever since Sangakarra stepped down from keeper he has been batting amazingly, he has been batsmen of the year imo, i think hes played better than ponting

yeah keeping took it out of him. So he didnt score as much as he could. Ive noticed that in most of my matches the side wh fields first seems to lose most often due to fatigue. Although passing 150 4 times is bloody brilliant. well done to him.
