FA Sports News-Coming soon!

Just like to introduce you guys to the site I'm making, for Danny and Leo. It's basically a sports news site, and you will be able to comment on stories. We are planning on hiring people to write articles for us. I have made a user system, so it's easy to register and get commenting. I have also made a permission level called "Reporter" some lucky members, who we think will write quality articles can be made a "reporter" and this would allow them to add articles to the site. I have also made an admin panel for me, Leo and Danny to control the whole site, with ease. I am currently making the site, and I am hoping to finish by Friday. Here are some screen shots of the site in progress:

oh cheers, is that all you're going to comment on? Thanks for the encouragement, and constructive critisism. I like the logo personally, but if you're offended by it, I'm sure I can change it.

You need to establish an "FA" corporate identity, i.e use red and similar font

Any other things people like/dislike about it so far?

i dont like the fact that golf isnt one of the main heading!!!!

Really like the idea Josh and Co.

I like the whole idea of the website.

Maybe the heading be nice if it was same colour and font as FA cricket forum so people could link sites easier.

I don't like the green background very much to be fair maybe a bit less bright.

The menu and the navigation bars look nice

Personally i dont think boxing should be on the main page

Alot of people enjoy boxing! We have to remeber that the news site wont just be seen by people of this forum, i want to expand it into something BIG! Therefore the more sports we have the bigger audience we will gather!

Put golf or motor sport instead of Boxing both are more popular.

We are putting both of them sports onto the main page. I was working with sports that I knew that I could easily write about, I follow boxing so I would find it easier to write about that rather than say F1 which I dont follow as much. But they will be added!

Any features anyone would like to see on it?

What are you planning to do with regard to photo's? Many are copyrighted and to use them you have to pay astronomical amounts

I am currently researching some free uncopyrighted image sites, but if push comes to shove I have money to give to copyright owners in return for pics.
