Players to watch in 2008

With many young stars coming through the ranks at county level there are a few who threaten to break onto the scene in spectaular fasion in 2008.

My players to watch in 2008 are...

1) Steven Croft (Lancashire)
2) Chris Jordan (Surrey)

Who do you think will shine in 2008?

I agree danny Steven Croft is a big talent to watch!! He could be great!
Also I think Jamie Darylymple will have a very good season, his offspinners are improving every match and his batting will have a years more experience - Hopefully he will get an england call up!!

yeah Langer has been great for the club, done a really good job, and I can only see it getting better from here.

A good young one to watch out for at lancs is paul horton, he scored about 1000 championship runs, and at 25 years old he lookign good for england in a couple of years time so watch out

Talking about players to watch i think teams to watch out for in the futer is lancs, they've not had to turn to kopak players and bloded young players instead. Theyve got a load of young uns to watch out for like paul horton, steven croft, steven mullany, and sadj mahmood. Plus i recon flintoff on his last legs in international cricket because 4 operations on one ankle is alot he may just have to resume o county cricket which would be great for lancs but bad for england

David Sales, and for a young Northants player either David Nelson or Alex Wakely

i reckon scott newman and james benning will be class this year there the best attacking players i have seen in county cricket
