Evo, just interested in bat shape and design a bit like the nixon stuff. That said after getting a few bits of willow from various companies it is pressing that makes the difference. Not sure what pressure is but the one's the seems to sound great with a hammer are.......................................... bom

Oh yeh, no problem. I'm sure on CSF a guy had one of Ben Thane's and another may have had a Rob Pack.

Companies use different pressing techniques, some have different press types, some press with oil, some with water.

Interesting I've got a lot to learn still as I get mine pressed. There is a difference, had willow from 3 bat makers now all slightly different
