Putting A Grip on Withoubt a Device
Well...
I need real help on this one lol. How the hell do you get the plastic bag through on that method and on the broomstick method can you go through the WHOLE process because I am stuggling madly right here!

I think he wants to do it without using a "device" lol. But I would say that quik grip is the way forward. Only costs a few quid and saves alot of time and stress!

Not got a grip cone? You can always use a broom handle, getting it onto the bat is a pain though!

You can try putting a little bit of pvc glue on the inside of the grip to help lubricate it - that can really help. Other wise you need to find something which replicates a cone, i.e small at one end, slightly bigger than a handle at the other.
A tutorial for the gripping cone can be found here, at http://www.simplycricket.net/how-to-use-a-gripping-cone-t53.0.html. If I get a chance, I'll do a run through of the bag method.

Ross, do you have a pool cue? I use that to put on my grips until I can get a cone.

Re: Putting A Grip on Withoubt a Device
I wonder if heating the grip would make it easier to put on as it will strech the rubber?

When we talk about bat grips it sounds like we talk about condoms- I asked my dad to get me a grip, he said what sort, I said ribbed if you can, and i goes, excuse me!

Re: Putting A Grip on Withoubt a Device
I Use The Plastic Bag Methord, It Easy.
1- Put The Bag Inside The Grip With The Bottom Of The Bag Cut Out.
2- Using The Side Without The Handles Slip Over The Top Of The Handle
3- Roll The Grip Downwards And Cut Out The Bag And Then Roll Back, The Roll Upwards To Get The Remainder Out. Simple
Make Sure Its A Supermarket Bag I.E A Tesco Bag Or ASDA Bag.
