I think this forum with more publicity, will be better than CSF. A few improvement need to be made though..

  • A clearer menu layout, a bit like cricket supplies forum.
  • User profiles shown on left rather than right side of screen
  • More posts groups, e.g semi pro, amateur, beginner, new starter, genius, know it all etc.
  • More publicity.
  • An active topics area, like CS.
These changes being made will make this forum even better than it currently is, well done admins!!

Cheers Mahraj
1.Ill try and work on the menu a bit to make it more efficient!
2.No chance of moving user profiles to the right sorry its too tricky as we cant edit the forum code!
3. We are desperatly trying to publicise! We have been noticed by google (type in "fa cricket) and are currently being indexed by yahoo! But we really need all of our members to tell their mates if we want to be big!
4. The is already basically an active topics area but its called posted since last visit...
https://facricket.forumotion.com/search.forum?search_id=newposts
its located at below the banner and above the first forum (Small piece of text)

Hope this helps mate!

I think an experienced moderator should be added to the team, at the moment, we have a team of mods who are less than 20 and whos knowledge isnt as great as say Tom, Nick, Jepo, Punterponting, TTFC etc. I know that one of these guys in the moderating team would seriously improve this forum.

The thing with that mate is Me and Leo made this forum to create a relaxed atmoshphere were mods werent breathing down your neck waiting for something to edit and have a go at you for. And anyway Me and Leo have not done anything wrong yet give us a year or so we will be perfectly fine Admins.

I also think there should be someone in their 30's, cos at the moment you're both 15. Unfortunately when you're running forums you get a number of people (and manufacturers) threatening legal action - which isn't a nice thought at all. With an older more experienced mod they'll usually be a bit more relaxed, may phone the person up or discuss it rather than jumping straight on the defensive.

For the next 6 months this won't happen but when this site hits google you get a number of problem posters for which I think a more experienced person is needed. It will also give you a larger team to back you up in such events and problems at the forum, as it's not always nice being the guy who has to warn, edit or delete posts - makes you feel evil and disliked Very Happy

I couldn't see the forum options bar for a little while. Maybe it needs to be a little clearer.

Lol! Most people have said to me they like the forum because of the layout! He says hes honest and isnt likely to ruin the forum if we give him admin access then he posts that and changes his bowling action to CS FORUM RULES
Feel free to spend your time on there...shame everyone dislikes you! Razz

Seems I've missed something, but I'd suggest that Leo you should be a bit more professional next time. Just ban him if he's done something wrong, no need to change bits to FA rocks and Imgay.

No need for the childish exchanges really, I thought this was a friendly place?
