Keeping the ball down!

Hey anyone got any good advice for keeping the ball on the floor? I got out caught every time last season except for one bowled!

Maybe wait until you have your eye in before playing harder strokes, other than that keep as low as possible which normally starts with your head being kept low.

Leo, keep your head directly over the ball, also make sure bat is near enough level at impact. If you hit to early it goes in the air, too late it bounces hard in to the ground and perfect timing = A perfect shot along the ground all the way to the boundry!

leo i got out all the time due to run outs because of many factors including judgement

Yeah my judgement for runs isnt that great either lol!

try keeping your elbow up and keeping your head over the ball

Youve got to get your elbow in front of your front knee i heard

play shots earlier, this will mean the bat face will be facing lower when ball hits it

Thats used to happen me alot aswell
Best advice I took is to keep your head down and over the ball andif you are going to hit it, hit it hard

been playing better last few weeks...havnt got caught out!
