Ever Been Hit by a bouncer?

Anyone here been hit by a bouncer or any type of delivery?
Whats it feel like? Did it injure you? What were the circumstances?
Thankfully - touch wood- ive never been hit but ive cracked a few people on the lid.

Plenty of times! Shot bowling is my weakness so i get targeted for short stuff!

Crested by one on a muddy wicket so had a brown circle on my lid and grilled by one of the WACA U17 openers swaying. Neither hurt but it's embarassing as hell as it makes you look like an awful player

been hit on the lid once,
and broke a rib in indoor nets, thought it would bounce higher tried to hook and it went under my bat

Just got hit 2 weeks ago at trails in the chest by a boy bowling aboyt 60mph or so

i took 2 in a row on the helmet last season and i managed to trick my mum into buying my a new masuri instead as it offers the best level of protection, instead of a readers one

I would disagree, I've been left with scars and bruises which sting at first then gradually get worse!

if ya get hit by someone bowling 120 kph plus itll hurt no matter what

I have had a couple round the ribs, neither hurt, surprisingly

Never as anything that short I have time to pull or Cut or sway out of the way.
