Form - Crisis of Confidence

My first net session since lst season,everything came out of the middle and was playing nice and straight.
Now i'm playing and missing, Inside edging, Mistiming and leaving massive gaps between bat and pad!
The more i think about it, the worse it gets :'(
What can i do?

go back to the basics play in the v and really focus on the ball. hope this helps

Practice Practise Practise. And tell yourself that you are GREAT and belive it. If you dont believe yourself that your good how can any one else think you are good.

Don't worry mate, as its your first net you shouldn't be too harsh on yourself, you will be rusty if you havent batted for a while. Over the next few weeks you will gradually get better.

The first net was awesome... it's just the 4 net sessions after
I'll go into my net omorrow thinking positive and play each ball as it come (focus)
and use all the advice

Concentrate on not giving your wicket away, you will score runs in the long run, just not as quickly as some at your net!

just watch every ball and play it on it's merits

Today's net was awesome!
I just really wanted to sort out the last couple of weeks and i'd like to say i did!
Played each ball as it came, Played he length.
Nailed my drives **Oh Boy I Love Them**
I'm not great at hitting balls tha are already heading down leg... but conected with a couple of leg glances and sweeps!
I cut well for a change!
Got out twice though!
One of them i got sticked like a kipper.... didn't pick our first team SLA's googly!
And the other trying to smack my last ball out of the face of the net!
Cheers everyone for the little bits of advice and i'll let you know how next week's goes to prove it wasn't fluke

well dont marcuss on your 100th post. and good to see you getting in a bit of form, just keep on doing that and you will be fine

yeah thats sound really cool. you could like write up how ur team or you batted or ur bowling stats for that match
