Bowling Machines
Is my club the only one that doesnt have a bowling machine or something!
Every1 is talking about facing them at ents etc etc!
I've never even seen one in real life ... let alonne face one!
Are they useful?

Re: Bowling Machines
very handy, you can control everything so its like the ultimate bowler. Perfect for certain shots you want to play

Re: Bowling Machines
I love them, except the only downfall is that it's not like facing a real bowler because you don't see the arm coming over so it's a little unreal in that respect!

Re: Bowling Machines
I've never played against one!
And it's a little ambition of mine,(if i have a big enough house/garden, enough money, and kids that like crikcte) To have my own!
No idea why!
I'd just love to be able to go into the garden and bat for an hour or so , against consistent balls. (Not sprayed down the leg side etc)

Re: Bowling Machines
i have faced 85mph on one didnt find it too hard as it tells you when its guna relese the ball so you already have your bat up and you know where it is guna pitch. played a nice cover drive for 4 along the floor on 80 mph

Re: Bowling Machines
No you can't, you can use proper cricket balls just no-one chooses too. At Fusion they've always used proper balls and their bowling machine is 10yrs old now or something.belliee wrote:they are good but u can only use bowling machine balls
