Amazing!!

Hi Lads and Lasses,

Just rang Fusion this lunchtime to order my SuperBest, after I spoke with James I felt totally comfortable investing in one of their bats.

I ordered:
Superbest Willow, with as much of a clean face as possible.
2lbs 10oz with a light pick up.
Slightly concaved and slight bow.
Mid placed middle.
Semi-Oval handle.

He then said he would pick out some willow and ring me back tonight or tomorrow to confirm everything.
About 30 mins I have just had a call from him telling me he has finished my bat! He wanted to keep ahead of orders so he did it tonite!

All in all, I am very pleased with everything about Fusion atm, and just hope their bats are as good as their customer service!!

Pics will follow on Wednesday (hopefully!) as that is when I have been told I will be getting it.

Im no bat maker but it must take longer than 30 mins to make a bat? Id be a bit worried the bat was just one he had lying around that fitted your specs?

Fusion are serious contenders for the top custom bat makers in the coming seasons I feel. I will be buying one of there bats soon.

theres a guy selling a fusion superbest CLEFT, which he made into a bat.. it has his own stickers on the bat.. CE.. check the wanted or sellig part of cricbats

They finished it in 9 hours, if he rang at lunchtime then till he rang (9.30pm) then it's 9 hours. That's enough time to make a bat.

TBH i think redback are way ahead of fusion

Leo you've owned a single bat from each, remember the Redback was also slightly used meaning it has been played in whereas the Fusion was new.

Even if I'd owned 5 of each of their bats I wouldn't say which company was better, as for all one knows they could be the best or worst 5 they've ever made. Maybe your Redback is a better bat at the moment than your Fusion, but one bat is rather soon to make such a generalisation like company A is way ahead than company B.

In all honesty most companies top grade bats will be around the same level, it's just a matter of finding one that suits.

Well my Surefire is supposedly inferior to my "superbest" but its nice wood.
I have "played in" my superbest...its got a bit better

But the service from Redback is just amazing - chat to him on msn,Email him and he replys phone him and he picks up.

Well, all I can say is that I will do anything to make the night happen quicker!!! Can't comment on Redback, though what I can say is they would have to do something special to beat Fusions customer service!

customer service being the main selling point that some companies use as leverage to defend high prices
