PST/Hows your season going?
Anyone playing cricket in season please post how you personally and yur team are getting on!
If not what kind of winter training are you doing, im just doing dore training usually with Cardiovascualr machines.

Ive been netting for 10 weeks now since the season ended! Unfortunaltly I have sustained a back injury!

Mannie they are...lay down on your back with your knees arched (as if doing a sit up), place a medicine ball in between your knees andd squeeze. Place arms down your sides to support you. Slowly lift your back up off the floor and hold for 2 seconds!Mannie wrote:what are they?

and personally i have scored 200 runs @ 66.67 and a highest scroe of 53 not out and 8 wickets @ 15 i think.

I'm netting indoor with my mates at the minute, because weve got some great nets in school, so we stay behind for about an hour each night. Pretty funny atch. Some teachers bowl to us. Sound slike your having a good season Sambo.

just like the best batsman from the north at my age and below. and we just do batting and work on loads of stuff on the machine or against the quicks or spin. and its just ran by the ecb.

I have just been working on the 'core' things like fitness and strength...going to start netting next week
Personally I think netting all year is not good for you...cricket is a strenuous sport and your body needs time to recover!
