Both Newbery's? Here they are!
The Mjolnir
The Uzi
Leo wrote:Nice kit there Maxxed i think i might have changed my mind abouth those flextechs yours look lovely!
Maxxed has told me the blank bat was sourced as a "blank from india by a mate"
Leo is right, it was bought as a Grade 1 blank bat, before the days of fakes and the like! And the Flex-Techs are brilliant Leo, but they are keeping pads, not batting!
armie wrote:Nice gear but the Newbery Uzi looks like a real beauty.
It is, but I think I have wrecked it through too many re-stickerings! Gonna give it to Newbery to sort out!
Re: Post your batting kit
Im confused my Uzi Players (harrow) doesnt have 50mm edges!
Anyone know why? It doesnt even have a sticker on the edge with a mm on it!

Re: Post your batting kit
With him being able to get the stickers he probably just stook them on because they do look good.

It is the height of the spine, and I have them on my bat because it has a 50mm spine - understand?

They do, the Uzi is just lovely, and the Mjolnir matches it, which I was surprised at!

my kit...
Hi everyone, after a few delays, i hav got my new bat. It is a CA PLUS 8000.
Specs...
9 straight grains
31mm thick edges
huge middle
weighs 2,9lbs (but picks up lyk a 2,7)
I bought this bat from basil (who iv bought from b4) and would like to
thank him for putting up with me, constantly annoying him about this
bat for the last week and a 1/2.
Im really pleased with this bat, picks up like a 2,7 yet is still pretty thick.
I will give performance reviews once I have tried and tested in the spring.
Myself and basil have agreed that I dont disclose the price, but, I think I
got a good deal with this one and made use of end of season sales.
